Microwaves

Who knew putting half a quart of rice into the microwave for 25 minutes would cause it to melt? I ended up with a lot of smoke a large block of something that used to be rice and a very angry dad. Actually, he wasn't so much angry about the rice as about the CD-Rom drive I barrowed from his computer. That's the computer I'm posting off of right now.

The drive in the old 486 didn't work and I was trying to replace the operating system. I didn't know it would cause this one to claim drive errors. I didn't know my dad would find out about the drive errors. I didn't know he would get hoping mad when he found out I was messing with the computers when I was supposed to be computing my income tax.

I'm just a guest in my own home. I obviously "have no understanding of what's used for what." I eat the food I'm not supposed to eat. I mess with the computers I'm not supposed to mess with. And I spend my time working on the things I'm not supposed to work on. If I were to stay in my corner all day working on my career and taxes and money (As important as all that is) and were to brag about what I had finnished every time I showed my face, then I would be welcome and all would be right with the world.

But thats not the case. So long as I'm home there's going to be tension. When I go back to school, every one at home will be happier. I'll be happier. Everything will be much more smooth.

All this ranting has made me hungry. What happened to that rice I was making myself... Oh... That's right.
