Infomercial

The other day I watched an infomercial. I don't ordinarily watch infomercials but occasionally I have little else to do and seeing what people are trying to sell these days seems a little more interesting. When the infomercial began, I almost turned it off. The product, at first impression seemed like a pool cleaner and the name "Almighty Cleans" collaberated that. However, once I reallized what the "Almighty Cleans" really was, I became somewhat perversly fascinated and very amused.

It was "Almight" in the sense that God is almighty and that it was appearantly based on biblical accounts of healling. It was the "Cleans" in the sense that an enima is cleansing and was an herbal program for bowel cleansing. The whole product was being sold by a guy named Danny Vierra.

Disgusting I know. He beat me to it! My herbal, bible-based, bowel cleansing program was just about ready to market and this Vierra dude decided to put out one of his own! I'll bet he stole the idea from me. Oh well, at least now I don't have to explain how Namen the Syrian provides an example of good colon health.
