Lawsuits

I saw this today. Heard about it first on Leno last night.

CNN News Report

I find this to be ridiculous. At least in America we have something called freedom of speech. You can't sue someone for proclaiming something in which he honestly believes. The Catholic Church did not "make up" Jesus. He did exist. There are historical records of his existence including the work of 1st century Jewish historian Josephus who labored to disprove Christ's theology. Even if Jesus didn't exist, at this point the Church honestly believes in his existence. They're not deliberately deceiving the populous.

Oh Well... It could be a sign of the end-times. The Church driven from its home. I believe that is part of the official interpretation of the prophecy. I'll have to look into it. Meanwhile, if they prove that Jesus exists, maybe they can sue the atheist? I mean, he sold that book, right? He made money off of the book. If it's a lie then he is guilty of "Abuse of Popular Belief" as well, don't you think? Oh Well.

God Bless.
