Taxes
I'm sure there's a logical explenation for this. Why does that IRS have us compute our own taxes only to recompute them themselves and tell us how far off we were? Wouldn't is be easier for them to do it themselves from the getgo?

I'm sure that this is also a factor in reports that tell us how bad our public schools are...
Some income isn't reported to the IRS except on the 1040 and it is your responsibility to report such income to the IRS.
